A shadow theater performance with artistic and literary expression is coming to Mytilene for a unique evening. ILIAKTIDA AMKE welcomes Rini\u03bf Kyriazis and the special theatrical production \u201cIn the Shadow of Lousia\u201d<\/strong> on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 8:30 PM at the Municipal Theater of Mytilene. <\/p>\n

Admission is free with invitations, which will be available from:<\/p>\n

\nEach person may collect up to two invitations.<\/p>\n

A unique shadow theater made from the figures of Nikos Houliaras’ works brings his novel Lousias to life. Through his paintings, the characters emerge. Lousias is reflected on the screen, doubling and multiplying. In the waters of the lake, the shadows of a distorted reality are reflected. <\/p>\n

Cruelty and hypocrisy are revealed through a child \u2014 a mirror.<\/p>\n

The lost one, the fool of the city, the weak-minded, the scatterbrain.<\/p>\n

He remains to remind us of tenderness.<\/p>\n
