DESCRIPTION:The honorary event titled “Theodoros Chochlakas: The Visionary Mayor\, Doctor\, Human” will feature keynote speaker Alekos Papadopoulos\, Minister of the Interior during his term and a personal friend of the late former Mayor of Mytilene\, Theodoros Chochlakas\, along with numerous participants. \nThe event is organized to mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of the former Mayor on January 27\, 2015\, by the Municipality of Mytilene\, the Lesvos Medical Association\, and the Union of Editors of Daily Newspapers of Peloponnese\, Epirus\, and Islands (ESIEPIN). It will take place on Monday\, April 28\, at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Theater of Mytilene. SUMMARY:Event for the Prevention of Childhood Obesity
DESCRIPTION:The event is organized by UNICEF under the auspices of the Ministry of Health. It is completely free for children from specific local schools\, by invitation from the Ministry of Education\, and focuses on the prevention of childhood obesity.  \nThe event will last 4 hours (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). It will begin with some talks and panels featuring nutritionists.  \nAfterwards\, there will be workshops for the children\, while outdoor sports activities will be set up primarily around the venue (parking area and football field).
