On Friday, March 28, the Phase A School Track and Field Competitions for General and Vocational High Schools will take place at the Mytilene Municipal Stadium, with the participation of all registered schools.

All schools in Lesvos with students born in 2007, 2008, and 2009 are eligible to participate.

The events for boys include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, and 2000m steeplechase.

For the jumping events: Long jump, High jump, Triple jump.
For the throwing events: Shot put, Discus, Javelin.
Additionally, the 10,000-meter race walk is included.

The events for girls include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, and 2000m steeplechase running events.

Jumps: Long jump, High jump, Triple jump.

Throws: Shot put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer throw, and 5000m race walk.

Since these competitions are national in scope, athletes who meet the qualifying standards in Phase A will advance to Phase B, which takes place in Attica. These competitions are organized by the Directorate of Physical Education of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (Y.PAI.TH.A.).
