The honorary event titled “Theodoros Chochlakas: The Visionary Mayor, Doctor, Human” will feature keynote speaker Alekos Papadopoulos, Minister of the Interior during his term and a personal friend of the late former Mayor of Mytilene, Theodoros Chochlakas, along with numerous participants.

The event is organized to mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of the former Mayor on January 27, 2015, by the Municipality of Mytilene, the Lesvos Medical Association, and the Union of Editors of Daily Newspapers of Peloponnese, Epirus, and Islands (ESIEPIN). It will take place on Monday, April 28, at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Theater of Mytilene. Participants will include:

The event will be moderated by journalist and personal friend of Theodoros Chochlakas, Stratis Liarellis. After the speeches, people who knew him through the many roles he held will also share their thoughts and memories of his multifaceted personality.
