The Parents and Guardians Association of the 10th Primary School of Mytilene, as part of its initiatives to promote healthy eating and combat childhood obesity, is organizing a special Foodfest on Saturday, May 17, at 6:00 PM, on the school grounds. The event will focus on nutrition, tradition, and raising awareness about childhood obesity.

The aim of the event is to introduce children and parents to local products and traditional dishes through a creative and hands-on experience.

Children will prepare snacks and smoothies using pure ingredients, while chef Stratos Iosifellis will share tips on traditional cuisine with a modern twist. At the same time, there will be a performance of traditional dances by the group Chorodoiporoi.
