Written in 1949, “Death of a Salesman” is considered the American author’s masterpiece. It deals with the life of Willy Loman, a traveling salesman, who lives confused between the present and the past, trapped by the American dream. The unbearable hunt for survival, according to the standards imposed by the highly capitalist society, leads him deliriously to the dissolution of his entire life.
