The Lesvos Cycling Club, in collaboration with the Municipality of Mytilene, is organizing a Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge race, which will take place in the city of Mytilene.

The event will take place in the grove of the Ancient Theatre on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., inviting both young and adult cycling enthusiasts to take part in a dynamic sporting experience.

For younger participants (aged 10–14), a special route has been designed, tailored to their abilities. For those aged 15 and above, an XCC (Cross Country Short Course) route will be held, specifically designed to offer strong competitive interest for both participants and spectators.

Particular interest is also expected in the e-bike category, where athletes will demonstrate a high level of technical skill, speed, and endurance on the demanding off-road routes along the hillside of the grove.

Registered participants must arrive at the event venue on the day of the event between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in order to collect their participation package.

Please note that registrations will not be available on the day of the event.

RULES & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Athletes are required to:
• Be present at the race starting point 60 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Wear a protective helmet throughout the race.
• Conduct themselves during the race in a sportsmanlike manner toward other cyclists, the race committee, and accompanying persons.
• Display identification numbers provided by the organizer. The size and placement of these numbers must not be altered.
• The top three athletes are required to appear on the podium for the winners’ ceremony.
