The music concert entitled “Notes of the Aegean” by the Hellenic Air Force Band will take place on Sunday, June 8 at 8:30 p.m., with free admission, at Milena Kontou Square near the Mytilene marina, with the support of the Municipality. This is a series of concerts taking place as part of a tour of the border islands, which began in Megisti a few days ago.

The Hellenic Air Force Band was founded in 1947 and currently has 74 permanent members who form the band and the light orchestra. During its 78-year history, the Hellenic Air Force Band has demonstrated a remarkable work both in the military and social fields, offering a rich repertoire of all types of music, presenting concerts at the Athens-Thessaloniki Concert Hall and in every corner of Greece and abroad.

The light orchestra also has a very important work to demonstrate, among other things, by participating in events organized by institutions and other social organizations.
