On the occasion of World Oral Health Day, the Lesvos Dental Association and the North Aegean Region are co-organizing a seminar titled “A Healthy Body Starts with a Healthy Mouth.” The event will take place on Saturday, March 29, at the Municipal Theater of Mytilene, aiming to inform both health professionals (doctors, dentists, pharmacists) and the wider public about the early diagnosis and management of painful oral diseases, as well as oral cancer.

Distinguished professors from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) will participate in the seminar, presenting the latest scientific findings on the importance of oral health for overall body health.

The seminar will include:
Morning sessions (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM): Scientific community updates on the latest developments in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases.
Afternoon session (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM): Open to the general public, focusing on daily oral health care and its connection to overall health.

The event is held with the support of Intermed and Vitaropoulos companies, as well as the Municipality of Mytilene.
