From mythical antiquity to the twilight of our own times, songs have always been shaped by their heroes—and above all, by their heroines. Some of these women “turn clouds into horses and stars into bridles,” while others “dance upon the shark’s fin,” reimagining the very geometry of the world.

Our performance brings together songs of the feminine spirit. Stories—from the radiance of youth to the clarity of maturity—about remarkable women, as well as beloved heroines from everyday life. These are songs that defy time, never lose their way, and whose refrains continue to resonate, inviting us to join in.
